There were some problems with the latest WordPress upgrade. Well it did not have anything to do with WordPress but with the FTP uploader I used (Filezilla). I did not upload all of the files which made that the visual editor did not work. Fixed it!
The Netherlands seems to be in the European top of the number of men and women working part time. A poll also showed that a large part of the Dutch women (married and single, with and without children) did not want to work more than 3 days.
What does that say?
In response to the FAI proposal to standardize the engines used in Formula 1 Ferrari released a statement in which they indicated the they would review their position in Formula 1. More of less threatening to leave the Formula 1.
I’m not a real fan of Ferrari but in this case I agree with them although I come from another angle. For Ferrari participating in a Formula 1 call in which they were forced to use third party engines or in which they could not distinguish themselves from other brands because everybody uses the same hardware is not commercially interesting.
For me the cutting edge technology used in Formula 1 is part of the appeal. Forcing teams to use the engine en gearbox for more than one race is a good idea. Limiting the competitiveness by restricting the technological developments is a bad idea.

Kimi blows his engine [link] at Valencia after Massa blew his engine in the race at the Hungarian Grandprix. I blogged about this earlier but it really looks like Ferrari has a problem with lasting their engines more than one race. Could this be that they have replaced some engine components in order to get more power? It looks like it but It thought all engines designs were frozen.
