Olli Rehn wants to check and approve the budgets of the European member states.

Looks like he is going for the ‘United State of Europe’ stepping over the European Parliament, every constitution and agreement with member states.

I went to a Randy Newman concert last night. It had been a while since he visited our small town lasttime.

It was a great concert. His voice was surprisingly good. He doesn’t reach the high notes anymore, but then again he was never known for the Pavaroti type singing voice.

The Netherlands only has four major energy companies. Essent is one of the biggest.
Every country in Europe understands the importance of being not to dependant on other countries when it is about energy. The Dutch government is going another path and is selling the fire of it’s economy. Next in line for being sold, within a couple of weeks, is Nuon which is the second biggest energy company.
